we're stronger with Kayoute being in the squad for sure that's something we'll agree on however has he been any better than his other midfield colleagues of late?
Obiang has the pace and power required to fill in surely, noble with him and let Payet, Antonio and hopefully Enner supply big Andy?

We will miss Kouyate. He's an important link from defence to attack although Payet will help alleviate that. Not sure that song, obiang, antonio & payet can go the distance today though. The former three went 90 on saturday. It will be a difficult game and hate to say I'd be happy with a draw because without the FA cup game we'd smash them but here we are

Kouyate's been adding very little to the side lately
less tackles than other midfielders, worst pass completion than other midfielders, fewer touches of the ball than other midfielders, creating less/absolutely zero chances than other midfielders etc etc etc. The list goes on.
But he does get around a lot.

I like Kouyate but recently think he goes missing quite a bit and think we should be seeing a lot more from him.
Good player for us, could be much better.
Same with Song although slightly harsh returning from a long injury and no pre-season.
